Face to Face with Success: Meet Yolisa Phahle

Written by: Sithandwa Ngwetsheni

Yolisa Phahle is the first black woman to head up M-Net’s channels. Since her appointment there's been a steady growth of local content on the Mzansi channels - which she is very passionate about.

She says it's important for people to see their realities and lived experiences reflected back to them.

“Storytelling is a very effective way to reflect reality but also to create the possibility of something better.”

Yolisa Phahle

Listen to the interview:

“Look for opportunities. Small opportunities can provide a wonderful launchpad for your career.”
