Multi-Choice launches pop-up channel to ease Easter blues

Millions of South Africans who observe Easter will not have their usual gatherings this weekend due to the lockdown.

With 80% of the population being Christians, Multichoice has come to the rescue with its pop-up channel to ease the pain of not attending mass gatherings.

Speaking to Clement Manyathela, MultiChoice South Africa head of corporate affairs Reggie Moalusi says the programmes will be jam-packed.

It is going live channel 344 this afternoon, it will be on air until Monday midnight.

It's going to be a jam-packed programme especially Friday, Saturday, Sunday when most people are observing this key period.

All the bouquets will have the channel.
